Retaining Wall Solution - House re-positioned
All is good in the world again. Re-positioning the house across the block resolves a number of issues. The main one being the zone of influence in relation to the neighbours wall. Have also relocated the Hot Water System to the opposite side of the house.
Two additional issues raised by the Private Certifier which have also been resolved are:
- Roof Pitch has changed from 20 Deg to 18 Deg
- FFL was increased in the Garage to reduce the driveway gradient to a compliant value.
Changing the FFL and the position of the house on the block means we need to update the Hydraulics Design and obtain approvals again from Sydney Water, and the Structural Engineers before re-lodging back into CDC.
